A special Mental Fight Club event at Waterloo Festival in partnership with St John’s Waterloo and The Bridge At Waterloo. Register your attendance here!

About the event:

‘Sound Flows Through Us’ is an improvised evening where instrumentalists come to improvise. It is an evening where those of us who do not play an instrument of our own (as yet) can let sound flow through us. A time to explore different ways of experiencing instruments, not from a distance on a far removed stage but by speaking to instrumentalists, seeing them practise up-close.

Partners:

The Waterloo Festival is annual celebration of arts, heritage and community run by St John’s Waterloo with the local community. St John’s Waterloo, the church-venue on the roundabout at Waterloo and rebuilt for the Festival of Britain in 1951, is committed to being here for you. Today, its known as one of the most inclusive churches in London, champions of social justice and climate action. Through a year-round arts and culture programme produced by its sister-charity, The Bridge At Waterloo, St John’s Waterloo runs creative, community and therapeutic gardening projects for people with experiences of homelessness, isolation as well as local people in need. The magnificent Grade II* building is also one of the best venues for hire on the South Bank.
