We look forward to welcoming you to our eclectic mix of in person and zoom sessions. 

On Wednesday 6th December MFC brings you the Dragon Café in the City project in collaboration with Shoe Lane Library and the City of London. Join us for a fantastic mix of events online and in person!

Please note that due the impact of the train strike on 6 Dec, Mindfulness for Winter & Afterwork Stretch sessions will now be via zoom. So, we look forward to your company from wherever you are.

Our Seasonal Shadow Boxes, Relax & Create, and Simple Book Binding workshops are at Shoe Lane Library as planned.

12.15pm (30 mins): Mindfulness for Winter

Take a break from the hustle and bustle with this guided meditation designed to calm the mind and reenergise your day.   With Victoria John, mindfulness teacher and actor.    

Only via Zoom due to train strike.

1pm (60 mins): Seasonal Shadow Boxes

Create small, illuminated boxes decorated with painting and paper collage. Perfect to bring a golden glow into your home as the nights draw in. With artist Vanessa Lawrence.

In person at Shoe Lane Library.

2:30pm (90 mins): Relax & Create: Drop In

Stay on and paint or drop in for this self-led creative afternoon.

In person at Shoe Lane Library.

No Registration needed.

5:30pm (60 mins): Simple Book Binding

Make a small handmade book, using assorted papers and card.  A lovely present idea to gift to someone special or keep all for yourself.  A seasonal end of the day workshop with artist & illustrator Wendy Scott.

No experience needed.

In person at Shoe Lane Library.

6:00pm (45 mins): Afterwork Stretch

Chill out and stretch after your busy day with Anya, Balance Garden. Wear your usual clothes.
