On Wednesday 2nd April MFC brings you the Dragon Café in the City project in collaboration with Shoe Lane Library and the City of London.
Move. Weave. Relax… something for everyone
12.15pm (30 mins): Standing Stretch
Reenergise your day and stretch with Anya, Balance Garden. Wear your usual clothes.
1:15PM (60 mins): Weaving Spring
Now the clocks have turned, weave a plant pot or basket with upcycled containers and twine. Keep for yourself or gift to a loved one.
2.30pm (90 mins): Relax & Create: Drop In
Self-led sociable session. Mindful drawing of Spring blossom & flowers. Read the papers. Play chess.
No need to book.
5pm (45 mins): Yoga
Chillout at the end of your day with this relaxed session. Anya, Balance Garden will guide you with gentle movements, postures and breathwork. No experience needed. Wear comfy clothes.
6pm (45 mins): Breathing Space: Introduction to Meditation
Learn techniques & tools to help bring a sense of peace and harmony into your life. With experienced practitioner Shweta O’Shea. Beginners and those with experience all welcome.
