The Dragon Café would like to welcome you back from our summer break and invite you to join us on Monday 5th September to come together as a community of creative minds and participate in a range of arts activities
We are looking forward to be bringing you a LIVE and In person Dragon Café from Draper Hall in Elephant and Castle on Monday 5th September.
There is no need to book, just come along and join us!
Timetable for Monday 5th Spetember
11:30pm: Doors Open - Come and relax, catchup, chat, have a drink and a bite to eat
12pmm - 1:30pm: Southwark Wellbeing Hub Drop-in
The Southwark Wellbeing Hub is delighted to work in Partnership with Mental Fight Club. It’s a chance for anyone to talk to 1-1 with a Community Support Worker about an issue or challenge they’re facing and get some advice about services and opportunities who can help. We will be using a confidential space at Draper Hall and seeing people on an impromptu basis. If you’re looking for support, come and talk to us.
The Southwark Wellbeing Hub provides information and support to anyone in Southwark who would like to improve their mental health and wellbeing. The Hub’s services are free and open to anyone who lives in Southwark or is registered with a Southwark GP.
12:45pm – 2:15pm: Wordsmiths Creative writing
In this fun workshop, attendees are guided through structured writing activities and games to enable them to create and share a mixture of fictional and true stories based on their own experiences
3:00pm - 4:00pm: The Dragon Café Singing Group
The Dragon Café Singing group will be meeting for a live session on Monday, where we will be raising our voices together in song as we come together again after the summer break. Come along and join in, everyone is welcome.
4:15pm – 5:15pm - Ariella & Renzo Danceworks
Dearest Dragonistas, Come and join us at our next 'live' Dragon Cafe this Monday. All are welcome to dance, bounce, shake, stretch and tone in the joyful and supportive company of fellow Dragons. No dance experience needed...musica maestro!!!
