Express yourself with our eclectic pick ‘n’ mix of workshops…
12:15pm (30 mins): Laughter Therapy
Boost your day with this laughter therapy session, designed to lift the mood and calm the mind. Laughter can help relieve stress, release endorphins (our happy hormone) and lower cortisol (stress hormone). With Sally Dixey.

1pm (60mins): Claymation: Express Yourself
Model a colourful clay face, then bring it to life with Claymation stop motion filming. Materials provided. See the resulting film clip & record it on your phone. No technical knowhow needed. With artist Reza Ben Gajra

2:30pm (90mins): Relax & Create: Drop-In
Stay on or drop in for this self-led sociable afternoon, with drawing, collage & origami.
In person at Shoe Lane Library.
No need to register.
4pm (60mins): Visible Mending: Sashiko & Boro
Learn how to mend your denims. Repair, reinforce & decorate with the traditional Japanese techniques of Sashiko & Boro stitching. Bring your own worn-out denims to repair, or practise on a denim patch to take home. Sewing kit provided. With the DCC team.

5:30pm (40mins):
Yoga
Stretch out with this relaxed session. Laura, Balance Garden, will guide with gentle movements and yogic postures. No experience needed. Wear comfy clothes. Bring your own mat or borrow ours (limited supply).
