On Wednesday 24th January MFC brings you the Dragon Café in the City project in collaboration with Shoe Lane Library and the City of London. Join us for a fantastic mix of events online and in person.
COLOUR. Feeling blue with the cold - warm up with our colourful palette of workshops:
12:15pm (30 mins): Standing Stretch
Reenergise your day and stretch with Anya, Balance Garden. That will bring some colour to your cheeks. Wear your usual clothes
In person at Shoe Lane Library and via Zoom..
1pm (60 mins): Animate Colour
Cut out colourful paper characters, inspired by the colour wheel, and bring to life with stop motion animation. No technical knowhow needed. With artist Reza Ben Gajra.
In person at Shoe Lane Library.
2:30pm (90 mins): Relax & Create: Drop In
Stay on or drop in for this self-led creative afternoon. Art materials provided.
In person at Shoe Lane Library.
No Registration needed.
6:00pm (45mins): Qi Gong new series
Combining slow graceful movements with mental concentration. Is said to help improve posture, strength, and respiratory function. No experience needed.
With Tony, Balance Garden.
Via Zoom.
7:30pm (60mins): Create with Colour
Mixed media workshop to warm up a chilly night. Find some art materials in your favourite colours and join artist Tracey Bush to bring colour to a cold night.
