Self Management UK will be supporting people with their mental wellbeing, with the opportunity to connect with others, advising how to overcome some of the challenges and barriers life may throw at you, how to communicate what you need, how to pace yourself and bring better balance in your life.
12:30pm – 3:00pm: Lee Hart – Theatre and Devising ‘Finding Your Voice’
Lee Hart is a Theatre Practitioner and Winner of the Arts Foundation Futures Award 2022 will be joining us for an afternoon of Theatre Games, Free Writing and Theatre Devising. This session is designed explore ways of storytelling and game playing which use the voice and stories of the participants. Lee’s practice as a director is based in the playing of games and fun being used to generate theatre.
Lee Hart is a director, devisor, and practitioner, making ambitious theatre experiences with, and for, some of the hardest to reach members of our communities. Since 2012 Lee has worked closely with the Theatre Royal Plymouth to develop, deliver, and creatively direct the Our Space project – a theatre making programme working with adults who may have faced challenges involving homelessness, isolation, mental health issues, substance misuse or re-offending.
